This is how I have my breeding pairs listed in my hatchery: a simple image followed by a quote box with links. The system takes into account both the breed and gene combinations of the parents to determine the appearance of the their hatchlings. Lo and behold, I found tapcaps breeding cards As of writing, they offer 5 different styles that are really nice and they are willing to try new ideas if you. But it's really up to you, and how you want to style your hatchery. Many people opt for very simple card designs, so that all the reader's attention is focused on the dragons, and not distracted by the fancy breeding card. There are so many different styles of breeding card that you can do anything you like! The most important thing is keeping your cards consistent! The cards I use are 500 pixels wide and 390 pixels tall. (More scrolling = more work = frustrated customers!) On the other hand, some hatcheries make their breeding cards really tiny! I personally prefer something in between. Try not to make your breeding cards too tall, either, since that will be harder for your reader to see all your pairs. No wider than 525! That's about the width of the thread. Some people also include previous hatchlings, or potential hatchlings from the scrying workshop, but that's not neccesary if you don't want to include that. Personally, I like to have a link to each dragon underneath the card as well!

You can list genes on the card or underneath the card, but you should have them somewhere! You can get away without listing genes if your dragon pictures make it clear what genes they have, but it's nice to have them listed out. Pictures of your dragons (usually with minimal/no apparel!) is also standard. You need to have the color range, at the very least, on the graphic itself. The key to breeding cards is just giving the reader the essential information, and not making it too cluttered!

Paint Tool Sai is a great resource! Tho personally I use Photoshop.
